STYRE FILTER-PRESS
AQUALINE STYRE Filter Press is an equipment used for dewatering biological or chemical sludge. The dewatering process is carried out by the solid-liquid separation of the sludge by applying pressure filtration with the help of filter press plates and cloths attached to these plates.
A filter press works by pumping slurry (a mix of liquids and solids) into the press. The press consists of a series of plates covered with filter cloths, and as the slurry is pumped into the press, the liquid passes through the cloth while the solids are trapped, forming a "cake" on the plates.
