1- Project Details

ESLI AQUALINE delivered a turnkey containerized SWRO plant with a total capacity of 30,000 CMD, engineered for industrial-grade reliability. Housed in modular containers, the system included advanced pre-treatment, high-recovery RO membranes, and automated controls. The solution balanced performance, scalability, and low operational costs while offering long-term service and technical support.

2- Customer Need

This project serves a mining company, aiming to support its core industrial operations and ensure a stable water supply for nearby residential areas. With limited access to freshwater and increasing operational demands, a reliable and high-efficiency desalination system was essential to maintain uninterrupted industrial activity while addressing community water needs. As a result, a sustainable solution based on Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) technology was implemented to produce high-quality treated water suitable for industrial use and to strengthen overall water security in the region.

3- Challenge

The main challenge was the ability to deliver a reliable seawater treatment system for a project with high demand for treated water, required to support both industrial operations and surrounding residential areas. The project also called for portable and modular treatment units that could be easily deployed and relocated as needed. Additionally, the execution timeline was extremely tight, requiring AQUALINE to achieve rapid manufacturing and delivery, completing the system in a record time without compromising on quality or operational efficiency.

4- Impact & Environmental Effect

The project enabled:
-
A stable and high-volume supply of treated seawater to support demanding industrial operations
-
Reliable water access for surrounding residential communities
-
A significant reduction in dependence on freshwater sources, contributing to long-term water sustainability
-
Deployment of modular, portable treatment systems that minimized environmental footprint and site disruption
-
Energy-efficient operation aligned with the client’s environmental and sustainability goals

5- Performance

The system was delivered in a record timeframe and has provided reliable, uninterrupted operation under continuous high demand. It meets stringent industrial water quality standards, and AQUALINE’s engineering expertise and responsive after-sales support have ensured optimized performance with minimal downtime and long-term operational reliability.
