AQUALINE Water Technology provided a custom-engineered wastewater treatment system with a total capacity of 1,300 CMD, designed for a private sector client in Qatar. The system was built to treat domestic wastewater and supply safe, high-quality water for irrigation and agriculture. With its advanced design, the solution aligned with national sustainability objectives while ensuring reliable long-term performance.

2- Customer Need

The client required a reliable and efficient treatment solution to convert wastewater into a sustainable source of irrigation water. With limited freshwater availability and increasing agricultural demand, the system had to deliver consistent performance, compliance with environmental standards, and low operational costs.

The project involved several challenges:

  • Treating variable influent quality from domestic wastewater

  • Achieving strict irrigation reuse standards

  • Operating reliably in Qatar’s demanding climate
