OVERVIEW
NO MORE BROWN WATER & STAINS
Iron and manganese in well water cause brown or black stains, a metallic taste and a bad smell. They also block pipes, irrigation drippers, filters and RO membranes.
Catalytic media such as Filox R turn the dissolved iron and manganese into particles and filter them out, all in one vessel. In many cases no extra chemicals are needed, depending on the oxygen already in the water. The filter is backwashed automatically.

HOW IT WORKS
INSIDE A IRON REMOVAL FILTER
If needed, air or a small dose of oxidant is added first. The catalytic media then turns iron and manganese into particles, which are trapped in the bed and washed out by the automatic backwash.
