OVERVIEW
HEALTHY, BALANCED WATER AFTER RO
RO and desalination remove almost everything from the water, including calcium and magnesium. This very pure water is aggressive: its low pH corrodes pipes, tanks and fittings, and it tastes flat.
Remineralization filters pass the water through calcite or dolomite media that slowly dissolves, adding calcium and magnesium back and raising the pH. It works naturally, without dosing pumps.
TYPICAL USES
- Drinking water after RO or desalination
- Bottled water production
- Protecting pipes and water networks
- Acidic well water
HOW IT WORKS
INSIDE A REMINERALIZATION FILTER
RO water flows through a bed of calcite or dolomite. The media slowly dissolves into the water, adding minerals and raising the pH, and is topped up as it is used.
STEP 1
Raw water
Tap, well, river or sea
STEP 1

KEY FEATURES
WHY CHOOSE OUR REMINERALIZATION SYSTEMS
Stops corrosion
Protects pipes, tanks and fittings.
Self-limiting
The media only dissolves as much as the water needs.
Better taste
Minerals give water a natural, fresh taste.
Natural media
Calcite and dolomite, no chemical dosing.
Stable pH
Stops iron fouling in membranes and pipes.
Easy top-up
Just add media as it is used up.
