1- Project Details
AQUALINE Water Technology designed and supplied a reverse osmosis (RO) system with a capacity of 1,200 cubic meters per day (CMD) to a government facility in Palestine. The system was developed to convert brackish well water into safe, potable drinking water, supporting daily consumption needs for public institutions and surrounding facilities.
2- Customer Need
The client required a high-capacity water treatment solution to ensure safe and consistent drinking water for government-operated facilities. With well water as the only available source, the system needed to remove excess salts, minerals, and contaminants to comply with health regulations. The design also needed to consider operational simplicity, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability under varying feed water conditions.
3- Challenge
The main challenges included treating well water with varying salinity and mineral content, ensuring consistent water quality for municipal distribution, deploying the system within a developing infrastructure environment, and minimizing both installation time and operational complexity.
4- Aqualine Solution
The project faced the challenge of treating brackish well water with variable quality, ensuring the output met potable standards for human consumption. Additionally, the system had to be robust, efficient, and easy to maintain, considering the infrastructure constraints and operational environment in the region. The delivery timeline and installation coordination also required close alignment with local government schedules and site conditions.
5- Impact & Environmental Effect
The project delivered significant improvements in:
-
Access to clean drinking water for public sector facilities and surrounding communities
-
Reduction in bottled water dependency and external water trucking
-
Improved public health standards and compliance with national water regulations
-
Operational efficiency and reliability in a critical infrastructure sector
6- Performance
The system has performed reliably since commissioning, maintaining stable output quality, low energy consumption, and minimal maintenance needs. It has proven to be a cost-effective, long-term solution for safe water access in regions with limited freshwater sources.
