Sand Filters

98 Sets x 2400 CMD

AQUALINE took on the challenge of implementing a robust filtration system to support the water needs of the Al-Khazmiah Project in Iraq. The project, completed in 2008, involved designing and supplying a high-capacity filtration system to efficiently treat water for municipal and industrial use.

We’ll highlight a few of the technical particularities of this project:

  • Purpose: To provide a reliable and large-scale water filtration solution to meet the demands of the Al-Khazmiah region.

  • Solution: Installation of a sand filtration system tailored for high-volume processing.

  • Technology: The system features 98 sand filter sets, each with a capacity of 2,400 CMD, resulting in a total capacity of 235,200 m³/day.

  • Outcome: A dependable, high-capacity filtration solution that supports water purification efforts in the Al-Khazmiah region, ensuring access to clean water for both industrial and municipal purposes.

This project highlights AQUALINE’s commitment to providing efficient and scalable water treatment solutions, addressing water challenges in the Middle East with innovative filtration technology.
