OVERVIEW
ULTRA-PURE WATER WITHOT CHEMICALS
EDI combines ion exchange resin, special membranes and an electric field to remove the last dissolved ions from RO water. The electric current regenerates the resin continuously, so there is no need to store or handle acid and caustic chemicals.

EDI is installed after RO and produces a steady flow of high-purity water for boilers, laboratories, pharmaceutical and precision manufacturing.
TYPICAL USES
- Boiler feed water for power plants

- Pharmaceutical and laboratory water

- Electronics and precision manufacturing

- Industrial process water
HOW IT WORKS
INSIDE THE EDI SYSTEM
Well water is pre-treated and filtered, then pushed through RO membranes at high pressure. Clean water goes to storage, and the concentrate is safely discharged.
