AQUALINE provided a high-capacity sand filtration system to support the large-scale reuse of treated wastewater for agricultural and irrigation purposes in Oman. The project aimed to enhance water sustainability in arid regions by improving the quality and reliability of tertiary effluent. Engineered for long-term performance, the system plays a key role in delivering clean, filtered water suitable for irrigation while contributing to efficient resource management.

2- Customer Need

The client needed a high-capacity filtration system capable of treating tertiary effluent to meet strict irrigation water quality standards. The system had to be durable, corrosion-resistant, and engineered for efficient filtration performance under high flow conditions typical in agricultural applications.

The primary challenge was the large size and international standard requirements of the sand filters. The project demanded precise engineering, premium-grade materials, and expert welding techniques to ensure structural integrity, pressure resistance, and long service life in demanding operating conditions.
