AQUALINE took on the challenge of implementing a robust filtration system to support the water needs of the Al-Khazmiah Project in Iraq. The project, completed in 2008, involved designing and supplying a high-capacity filtration system to efficiently treat water for municipal and industrial use.

We’ll highlight a few of the technical particularities of this project:

-
Purpose: To provide a reliable and large-scale water filtration solution to meet the demands of the Al-Khazmiah region.
-
Solution: Installation of a sand filtration system tailored for high-volume processing.
-
Technology: The system features 98 sand filter sets, each with a capacity of 2,400 CMD, resulting in a total capacity of 235,200 m³/day.
-
Outcome: A dependable, high-capacity filtration solution that supports water purification efforts in the Al-Khazmiah region, ensuring access to clean water for both industrial and municipal purposes.
